Free exam calculators for TNPSC, NEET, GATE and bank exams

By the PrepMatic team · Updated · 7 pages

These are the calculators aspirants ask for most often: age eligibility for TNPSC and bank exams, marks and scores for TNPSC Group 4, NEET, GATE and bank exams, and a planner that turns your exam date into study hours. Each one runs in your browser, needs no sign-up and sends nothing you type anywhere.

Every page states the rule behind its calculator and names the notification it comes from. That is deliberate. A calculator is only as good as its rules, and exam rules change from one cycle to the next, so you should be able to check them.

How to use these calculators

Start with the rules table on each tool's page and compare it with your own notification. Then enter your numbers. The results are meant for planning, mock-test analysis and a first eligibility check. They are not a substitute for the official answer key, scorecard or notification.

The calculators show exactly where they stop. If a rule is not one we have verified, or your details fit more than one rule, the result says "check the notification" instead of giving a confident answer that might be wrong. Treat that message as a pointer to the paragraph you need to read, not as a failure.

What each calculator is based on

  • TNPSC age limit. Group 4 Notification No. 11/2026, Group 2 and 2A Notification No. 11/2025 and Group 1 Notification No. 04/2025.
  • TNPSC Group 4 score. The scheme and OMR rules of Notification No. 11/2026: 1.5 marks per correct answer, 0.5 mark off for a blank, a 60-mark Part A gate and a 90-mark minimum.
  • NEET score. The pattern in force since 2025: 180 questions, 720 marks, +4 for correct and −1 for wrong.
  • GATE score. The scoring formula in the GATE 2027 Information Brochure.
  • Bank exam age and score. The 2026 notifications of IBPS and SBI.
  • Study hours planner. Your own inputs. It uses no exam rules except the dates you give it.

Frequently asked questions

Are these calculators accurate?

They apply the published rules exactly as written in the notification they cite, and we test each one against worked examples. The final word is always the conducting body's own result, answer key or scorecard. Where a rule is missing or the answer depends on a detail we cannot see, the tool says so.

Do the calculators store my date of birth or my marks?

No. Everything is calculated in your browser, and the values you enter are not sent to PrepMatic or anyone else. Reloading the page clears them.

Why does a calculator use an older notification?

Because it is the latest one we have read in full for that exam. The age calculators name the notification and the date on which age is counted in every result, so you can see which cycle they follow. For the newest dates and rules, open the notification on the official site.
