Can I edit my TNPSC application after submitting?
On this page
Yes, but only in the correction window. TNPSC opens a three-day window after the last date for applying, during which you can correct your submitted application. For Group 4 2026, the window runs from 12.01 AM on 9 November 2026 to 11.59 PM on 11 November 2026.
Correction windows in recent notifications
| Notification | Last date to apply | Correction window |
|---|---|---|
| Group 4, No. 11/2026 | 5 November 2026 | 9 to 11 November 2026 |
| Group 2/2A, No. 11/2025 | 13 August 2025 | 18 to 20 August 2025 |
| Group 1, No. 04/2025 | 30 April 2025 | 5 to 7 May 2025 |
All three notifications give a three-day window, starting a few days after the last date. If you submit early, you still wait for the window to open, so the safest plan is to apply early and fix mistakes then.
What to prepare before the window
- Check your name, date of birth, community, qualification and post choices against your documents.
- Keep your photograph and signature files ready if you need to replace them. A photo must be studio-taken on or after the notification date, with your name and date of photography printed on it. See the photo size guide.
- Note down which fields the notification allows you to correct. The notification's instructions decide what can be edited, so read them before you start.
Editing the OTR is different
Your One Time Registration is a separate profile. TNPSC allows OTR edits, with supporting documents. A change made in the OTR does not rewrite an application you have already submitted, so for a live application use the correction window. The OTR basics are in the OTR validity answer.
If you miss the window
After the window closes, we have found no provision in the notifications for further changes, so treat the window as final. If you have a technical problem, the TNPSC helpdesk is the place to ask; its details are on the helpdesk page. Wrong details can also lead to rejection later, so correct anything that does not match your certificates.
For the full application process, see OTR and how to apply.
