For the most popular bank exams, there is no minimum percentage: IBPS PO, IBPS Clerk and SBI PO ask for a graduation degree in any discipline. RBI Grade B and NABARD Grade A are different: they require 60% in graduation, or 55% in a postgraduate degree.

"None stated" means that the education clause we reviewed asks for a degree and does not mention a percentage. Check the notification for exceptions in your cycle.

How RBI counts the percentage

RBI Grade B uses the aggregate of all semesters or years. If your university awards a CGPA and publishes no conversion rule, the advertisement gives a table: a CGPA of 6.75 is treated as 60%, and 6.25 as 55%. See the RBI Grade B guide for the selection process.

RBI says it encourages candidates with no prior experience to apply, so a fresh graduate with the required marks is eligible.

The degree must be complete on time

A percentage rule is only one part. IBPS wants you to be a graduate on the day you register, while SBI lets final-year students apply provisionally. The dates are in final-year students and IBPS PO.

Choosing a target

If your graduation is below 60% and you do not hold a postgraduate degree with 55%, IBPS and SBI recruitments remain open to you, but RBI Grade B (General) is not. Look at the list of bank exams for the options, and the bank exam eligibility guide for age, nationality and attempts.

Percentages are set by each advertisement, so verify them in the latest one.
