On 2 October 2026 TNPSC announced that hall tickets are available for the Combined Technical Services Examination (Diploma/ITI Level). The exam is held in several sessions between 11 October and 24 November 2026, mostly as a Computer Based Test (CBT), with one OMR session.

What the press release says

The exam is under Notification No. 06/2026, dated 7 July 2026, as amended by Addendum No. 6A/2026, dated 18 September 2026. The press release lists the dates; each date has forenoon (F.N.) and afternoon (A.N.) sessions, except the OMR day:

DatesMode
11 to 15 October 2026CBT
26 to 30 October 2026CBT
11 to 13 November 2026CBT
15 November 2026 (forenoon only)OMR
22 to 24 November 2026CBT

Hall tickets are on www.tnpsc.gov.in and www.tnpscexams.in. Candidates download them from their One Time Registration (OTR) dashboard by entering the application number and date of birth.

Why it matters

Because the exam runs over many days and shifts, your date, session and centre are specific to your hall ticket, and a CBT is a different experience from an OMR sheet because you read and answer on a screen. Practise on screen before the exam. The Combined Technical Services guide explains the scheme, and the mock test strategy page shows how to practise under exam conditions. If your OTR login is a problem, see OTR and how to apply.
